Lost in the pandemic, Tom McElvain’s Lost Whiskey Tapes have now been found. Texas artist and co writer of the Cody Jinks, hits Grey and Rock n Roll, Tom Mcelvain, has circled the scene in many forms the last few years with his Dirty Pesos band traveling the highways of America but with this release just as he proclaims in the lead off track “Tonight I’m on my own” the Lost Whiskey Tapes marks Tom’s solo artist debut on Sol Records. Digitally released November of 2020 the lost whiskey tapes did in fact get lost in the turmoil of a pandemic, back logged manufacturing, and a postponed year bookended with cancelled shows and last ditch live streams.
