Donkey Town Rescue Ranch

Donkey Town Rescue Ranch

I found a place that eases my wondering blues messing with these damn Donkeys and planting fence posts. We had some fun with the name Donkey Town and you guys jumped in with pics and jokes...we had so much fun we decided to start working on the land to be a Donkey Rescue Ranch. We will be building a store to sell merch for food, supplies and health care.

Lost Whiskey Tapes have now been found.

“Tonight I’m on my own” the lost whiskey tapes marks Tom’s solo artist debut on Sol Records. Digitally released November of 2020 the lost whiskey tapes did in fact get lost in the turmoil of a pandemic, back logged manufacturing, and a postponed year bookended with cancelled shows and last ditch live streams. We’re proud to properly present The Lost Whiskey Tapes from Tom McElvain on CD and possibly vinyl (covid/international diplomacy/shipping/earthquakes permitting) Apr 30th 2021.

“The Lost Whiskey Tapes” will be released on my new home Sol Records November 27, 2020 just in time for Thanksgiving. This release is a compilation of demos and lost songs that really document a period of my life early on in my musical adventures. I’m happy to share it with you in an effort to put forth my journey starting from square one. Keep an eye out for more releases coming on Sol Records throughout 2021

Raking Grandmas Leaves

Raking Grandmas Leaves

On my hands and knees I scooped the leaves into the trash bag and packed them down. She leaned on her rake like a walking stick and reminisced on her labors as a child. She worked in her fathers auto body shop, she picked cotton by hand and she always worked, even after 5 kids came into the picture. I looked up into the loving set of eyes that held a lifetime of good and bad times she had lived through.
